Workplace Assistance Program
Support your staff. Reduce burnout. Improve retention.
Our trauma-informed, neurodiversity-friendly programme is designed for the DWP’s Access to Work model, offering up to 20 weeks of structured, funded support for employees who may be struggling due to PTSD, complex trauma, ADHD, autism, or anxiety-related conditions.
Why Workplace Support Matters
Unresolved trauma and unsupported neurodiversity often lead to:
- Increased sickness absence
- Misunderstood behaviours mistaken for underperformance
- Burnout and staff turnover
- Legal and ethical risks around reasonable adjustments
Our tailored support programme helps your employees thrive — and helps you meet your Equality Act 2010 duties with confidence.
What We Offer: Specialist Employee Support
This 20-week programme offers 1:1 weekly sessions delivered either:
- Onsite (available within the North West of England and North Wales – please contact us to confirm availability in your area)
- Online
- Or by phone
Each employee receives a bespoke coaching plan designed around their specific needs and strengths. We specialise in:
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Complex Trauma
- ADHD & Executive Dysfunction
- Autism Spectrum Conditions
- Stress & Burnout Recovery
How It Works
Step 1 – Referral/Access to Work Grant Support
We can assist employees in applying for a DWP Access to Work grant, which can fully fund the programme with no cost to the employer.
Step 2 – Needs Assessment
Each participant receives a confidential, trauma-informed assessment to identify what support will have the greatest impact.
Step 3 – Weekly Coaching & Strategy Building
We work with employees on:
- Stress management & emotional regulation
- Time and task planning (for ADHD & executive dysfunction)
- Confidence rebuilding post-trauma
- Co-created workplace adjustments
- Communication & resilience strategies
Step 4 – Employer Liaison (Optional)
With the employee’s consent, we can advise managers on simple, low-cost workplace adjustments that align with legal duties under the Equality Act.
