About Dave

Before becoming a therapist, I experienced a number of difficult and traumatic events that shaped my life in profound ways. With the help and support of organisations like Sole Survivor, I was able to find my way out of a very dark and lonely place.

Since qualifying as a BACP Accredited, person-centred trauma-informed therapist in 2016, I’ve felt a deep sense of purpose to help others navigate their own storms and find hope and healing on the other side.

Fast forward a few years — I met Matt at a Rewind Therapy Training Seminar, and we instantly connected. When he shared his vision for Sole Survivor, I knew I wanted to be part of it. I’m proud to help develop a vital service that offers trauma-based support for those living with PTSD and the lasting impact of trauma.
